LITTER LIFT

Blackwater Tidy Towns send you a final reminder of the annual An Taisce/Wexford County Council Litter Lift will take place on Saturday, April 1, commencing at 10.00 a.m on the Bridge and ending at 12.30 p.m. High visibility jackets, gloves and litter bags will be available to all.

This is a great opportunity for some community effort to clear the approach roads of litter such as half-full Coke cans, half full Lucozade bottles, Red Bull cans, used coffee cups and fast food wrappers before the vegetation is too advanced.

All volunteers are most welcome to come and help out in this worthy effort to beautify our village and its surrounding roads and countryside prior to the 2017 National Tidy Towns Competition.

Tidy Towns meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month and new members are especially welcome.
