SUMMER CAMP

The FAI summer Soccer camp is back and taking place from August 7 to August 11 Booking on summersoccerschools.ie. Book early as this camp sold out rapidly last year.

COOKERY DEMONSTRATION

Castlebridge ICA Guild are holding a charity fundraiser on April 6 in the Riverbank house hotel. Edward Hayden will give a cookery demonstration and tickets for this event are available from any committee member or from the hotel. Proceeds go to Marine Watch, the Hope Cancer Support Centre and Castlebridge Day Care Centre.

TRACTOR RUN

A Tractor/car run will take place on Sunday next, April 9, at 12.30 p.m setting out from Ballymurn village. Proceeds in aid of the local hall funds.

BIRTHDAY BOY

Tommy Doyle will celebrate his 50t birthday in the Roadhouse, Curracloe on Saturday next, April 8, and requests that family and friends donate to Wexford Hospice Homecare instead of giving him presents.

COMMUNITY GAMES

The local Community Games committee are seeking entries for some upcoming events. Get in touch with Michelle at 086 0605022 or Anne at 086 1980775 by the end of the week please. Entries are being taken for hurling, camogie, skittles, rounders, football. All rules on same available on communitygames.ie.

The committee are also seeking entries for the stage events – Solo and group singing, music, dance, as well as solo recitation. So please get in touch with Michelle or Anne as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The committee are also planning the area finals of the Athletic events and will notify schools when date is finalised. Details of same will also be posted in weekly local papers.
