Sophie sends Hibs into final

-

Bridge Rovers 0, Courtown Hibs 1: Thursday evening saw these two very good Under-12 sides play out a thrilling cup semi-final before Premier side Courtown Hibs eventually booked their place in the decider.

After a scoreless first-half where both sides created chances, Hibs broke the deadlock when Sasha Greene put Sophie Moran through and she kept her nerve to slot the ball past the Rovers ’keeper.

Bridge came in search of an equaliser but Courtown held on to book a cup final meeting with New Ross Town on April 29.
