ork meetings continue on Wednesdays and Saturdays – meet on the bridge at 10.30 a.m and bring suitable garden tools, secateurs, brush, watering can or any other suitable item. Volunteers are especially welcome.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT

The inaugural meeting was held on April 25 and there was a good attendance and many ideas were discussed. The next meeting is on May 9 at 2.30 p.m. in Blackwater Lodge. Members and all those interested in joining, are most welcome to attend.

COLÁISTE AN ÁTHA

The parents’ associatio­n of Coláiste an Átha, Kilmuckrid­ge, will host their annual coffee morning in the Lounge of the Crosses Pub in Kilmuckrid­ge from 10 a.m. to midday on Friday, May 12. Tickets are available at the college reception during the school day or just come along on the day. There will be lots of door and raffle prizes.

The parents’ associatio­n are involved in many aspects of school life, helping out at the Open Night, the Enrolment Night, first year Parent’s Informatio­n Evening, policy developmen­t and fundraisin­g to mention but a few. All are welcome to attend the coffee morning and your support will be very much appreciate­d.
