IDA appoints new regional manager
IDA Ireland has appointed Brendan McDonald as Regional Manager, South East Region.
Brendan is taking up the position previously occupied by Anne-Marie Tierney Le Roux, following her recent appointment as Head of Regional Development for IDA Ireland.
A native of Killeen, Co Laois, Brendan will be responsible for driving new foreign direct investment to the South East Region ( Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, and Tipperary) under IDA Ireland’s Strategy Winning 2015-2019, working with existing clients with operations in the Region as well as engaging with key stakeholders across the enterprise ecosystem in the Region.

Brendan qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and practiced extensively in a private law firm in the areas of Commercial Property, Litigation, Employment Law and Court Prosecution and Defence.
He subsequently joined IDA Ireland in 2012 as a Commercial Property Solicitor and worked in the Commercial Property Division of IDA Ireland. Immediately prior to being appointed South East Regional Manager, Brendan worked as the IDA West Regional Executive from 2015 promoting foreign direct investment and IDA’s regional development agenda in the West Region which consists of counties Galway, Roscommon and Mayo.
