Bingo is played every Monday night in the Anvil at 9 p.m.

IRISH DANCING

The Margo Murphy school of dancing classes continue every Tuesday evening in Ballymurn Hall at 5 p.m.

KNITTER KNATTERS

Ballymurn Knitter Knatters would appreciate any donations of wool which we would use to make hats, slippers and purses for the annual Shoebox appeal. Donations can be left into the club room of the hall any Wednesday from 11.30 a.m. to midday.

CLOTHES BANK MOVED

The Ballymurn Church Clothes Bank has been moved to the Daybreak car park.

GIRL GUIDES

Castlebrid­ge Girl Guides will be 25 years in existence in September. We only have four leaders at the moment so we are calling on all mammies, grannies, aunties, big sisters to come along as leaders or we will have to close. This would be a shame as we currently have 43 girls and 13 more on a waiting list. Please contact 087 6245641 if interested.

Irish Night is on the last Friday of the month in the Anvil Pub.

BALLYMURN CELTIC FC

Our AGM takes place on Friday, June 19, at 7.30 p.m. in the Anvil Lounge.

SOCCER MARATHON – Our underage soccer marathon takes place on Saturday, May 27, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the soccer pitch. Lots of fun is guaranteed on the day. Everyone is welcome to attend. Fully supervised.

OPEN DAY

The Open day at Artramon Gardens (close to Castlebrid­ge) will take place on Sunday next, May 28, Gates open at 2 p.m and the gardens remain open till 5 p.m. Admission is €5 for adults, with children admitted for free.
