This Thursday, May 26, is community coffee morning time again, in OL.I.

Community Hall from 10.30 to midday. All welcome to come along for cuppa and chat, all free.

MASS FOR EXAM STUDENTS

On Saturday, June 3, the 7 p.m. Vigil Mass in Our Lady’s Island will be offered for all the young people of the parish who are sitting junior and Leaving Certificat­e examinatio­ns. We extend a warm welcome to all the students and their families to join us for this Mass.

With no jackpot winner last week, €5,500 waits for you in tonight’s draw. To be in with a chance, buy your ticket in usual places locally or from club members for only €1.50 each. We had two match-three winners from last week’s numbers, Pat Redmond (seller – A Mullins) and Raymond Doyle (seller – D Maloney). Numbers drawn were 1, 8, 18 and 27.

Thursday, May 25 – under-14 Football Division 2 Cluain O’Rahilly’s v Our Lady’s Island/St Fintan’s at 7.30 p.m. venue tbc.

Sunday, May 28 – under-12 Football Division 1d Our Lady’s Island/St Fintan’s v St Anne’s at 11 a.m. in Ballymore.

RACKARD LEAGUE FINAL

Our Lady’s Island GA.A club would like to wish the boys of Scoil Mhuire Our Lady’s Island and St Fintan’s Mayglass the very best of luck as they compete in the Rackard League District Final today (Tuesday) against Rosslare Schools in Rathangan (St Anne’s GAA pitch) at 4.45 p.m. Support for the lads would be appreciate­d.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to Kathleen Cleary, Broadway on winning €183 in last week’s split-the-pot draw. Draw takes place in the Community Hall on Sunday after Mass. Thanks to all involved.
