COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €5,300. The winning numbers were 1, 8, 18 and 27. Congratula­tions to the six match-three winners who each received €35. The match-three winners were Pat Redmond, Angela Hogan, Mary Jordan, Oisin Lyons, Raymond Doyle and Catherine Pettitt. The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday, May 23, and the jackpot now stands at €5,500.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Last week’s winner was Ann Marron winning €173. The next draw is on Thursday, May 25, in Rathangan Bar.

KICKSTART PRESCHOOL

Kickstart Preschool, an early learning academy for preschoole­rs aged two to five years, is opening in Rathangan hall this coming September 2017. Please phone 086 3365018 to receive an informatio­n pack, Only 11 Free Ecce places available, provisiona­l booking advised. Kickstart will be holding an open day late June.

CLOTHING COLLECTION

Cleariesto­wn Community Playgroup will be having a Fundraisin­g used clothing collection on Monday, June 12. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes also bed linen, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, belts and soft toys. Old mobile phones will also be accepted. You can drop off any items at the playschool any weekday morning between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

LITTLE BREECHES

Enrolment has now started in Little Breeches for September 2017. Little Breeches caters for children aged between 2.5 and six years and offers morning and afternoon sessions. FASTNET ROVERS FC

The club AGM will be on Sunday, May 28, at 4 p.m. in Rathangan. Please come along. FAI summer Soccer Camp will be held at Fastnet Rovers on w/c August 7. To book a place at the camp go to summersocc­erschools.ie.

Congratula­tions to our under-12 team who have secured promotion and are now in a championsh­ip playoff final v Barntown, currently scheduled for Wednesday, May 24, at 7 p.m. at the All Blacks pitch. Please come along and support our team.

CÚL CAMPS

This year’s Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp for both boys and girls covering football, hurling and camogie will take place in St Anne’s GAA Club Grounds from Monday, July 17, to Friday, July 21. Children will get to learn GAA games from qualified coaches in a safe and fun environmen­t. Children from six to 13 years.

Cost of Cúl Camp this year is as follows: First Child €60, second Child €50, third child and subsequent children €40 each. The get in early campaign is in place till June 1 for priority bookings. (This means you will receive your gear before the end of June).

TABLE QUIZ

There is a table quiz Friday, May 26, at 9 p.m. in the Wheelhouse Bar, Baldwinsto­wn in aid of the upkeep of Baldwinsto­wn Community Hall.

BANNOW SHOW DATE

The Bannow & Rathangan Show takes place at Killag Duncormick on Thursday July 13, schedules will be out shortly, more details next week.
