Big boost for Model Academy
Development plans to go from strength to strength
WEXFORD G.A.A. are proud to announce the partnership of Anthony Neville Homes with their Model Academy programme, catering for players from Under-13 up to and including Under-17 in both hurling and football.
This is the platform for both player and coach development, with over 500 players and 80 coaches involved in the process.
The extremely detailed and carefully planned programme has received local and national praise in enabling dual players to develop as well as giving a large amount of players the tools to progress onto adult level at both club and inter-county.
The ground-breaking partnership with Anthony Neville Homes will enable the programme to go from strength to strength as well as giving new focus to providing top-quality standards across the board on a continuous basis.
The Games Development team, under the guidance of Games Development Manager Eoin Morrissey and Coaching Officer Bobby Goff, are keen to use this in the best interest of the coaches and players involved.
‘It’s great to have the work of our coaches and players recognised by such a high profile and local business. This will ensure we are able to give players and coaches an even greater opportunity in providing the best standards right across the board.’
Managing Director Anthony Neville said: ‘We are delighted to help in looking after the future hurlers and footballers within the county. We have a proud tradition and association with Wexford G.A.A. and want to see it continue to thrive in the future; after all, this is where it begins.
‘We pride ourselves in being forward thinking as a business as well as customer focused. The same qualities are evident within the games development programme for academies and it’s great to be now associated with them.’
