STREET FEAST

Blackwater Tidy Towns are hosting Street Feast on Sunday, June 11, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the church carpark. There will be music, hopefully some dancing and a chance for everyone to meet one another. Light refreshments will be available in the Community Center Hall and of course there is also the play ground for the little ones.

Musical entertainment as follows. 2 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. DJ Tommy McInerney. 2.30 to 3.30 p.m. John Kenny, Tony Ryan and Band; 3.30 to 4.30 p.m. The Scuttering Gobsheens; 4.30 to 5.00 DJ Tommy McInerney.

FOOT GOLF

Join with the Active Retirement Group for an afternoon of Foot Golf at Blackwater Golf Club on Tuesday June 6, at 2.30 p.m.

The members of the parents’ association of the school are very grateful to everyone who helped make the recent coffee morning such a success. Thank you to the parents of the school who supported the fundraiser by buying tickets, providing beautiful food and sponsoring raffle prizes. Thank you to the local community who attended, supported and helped out on the day. Money raised will go towards supporting school-based activities.

The parents’ association wish all examination students the very best of luck as they begin their exams tomorrow.

BINGO

Kilmuckridge Family Resource Centre are holding a Bingo night on Thursday night June 8, at 8 p.m. in the Crosses, Kilmuckridge with music by DJ Dennis.
