STORYTELLING

The next session of music, singing and recitations will take place at Kyle Forge on Sunday next, August 6, with proceedings getting under way at 8 p.m. Refreshments are also served.

CHURCH NEWS

Adoration every Monday from 1 p.m. till 7.20 p.m with Mass at 7.30 p.m. Adoration then continues till 9 p.m. Friday next, August 4, is the First Friday of the month and the sick and housebound of the parish will be visited during the morning. Prayer meeting every Wednesday night at the parochial house at 8 p.m.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

A special collection will be taken up this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 5 and 6, at Crossabeg church. Over 24 millions people across East Africa are struggling to survive a devastating hunger crisis. Trócaire are appealing for your generous support and help.

Congratulations and good wishes to Kimberly. younger daughter of Tim and Jackie Moloney, Kyle Upper, Crossabeg, whose marriage to Eoin Moore, Colestown, took place in Crossabeg church on Friday last with the reception for family and friends at the Ferrycarrig hotel.
