Kerry continued to attack and pushed forward to add two more points before Wexford settled down with Ria Murphy and Erin Peoples battling hard in the forwards. Lisa Kelly pointed to bring Wexford to within two before they were awarded a penalty.
Molly Crowdle stepped up to take it and drove it to the back of the net. Kerry pushed on to level the game with another point.
It was another great performance from Wexford with Orlaith Gaffney and Elizabeth Gahan giving it their all.
