We were soon on our way again to Newbridge for a spot of shopping. We finished this most enjoyable day with a delicious dinner served in the Talbot Hotel in Carlow. This year again, we are most grateful for our driver for the trip, Seán Fenlon from Nash buses, who took us safely on our great trip in a very professional and friendly manner. A special thank you goes to Dympna Kelly (our guild president) and all the ladies who helped organising such a successful tour. I personally look forward to next year’s trip.

In September, a coffee day for the Hospice will be held by Mary Kelly (date to be decided). After our summer break, we will be back in Camross Hall on September 4 at 8 p.m. The monthly competition will be the ‘nicest bunch of wild flowers’. Remember to put September 4 in your diary and join us after the summer we are always happy to welcome new comers.
