Bunclody College of Further Education has been delivering first grade Q.Q.I. (formerly F.E.T.A.C.) courses in the Bunclody area for many years. Our commitment to the needs of the learner and the community is second to none. In this time of economic upturn you need to put your trust in a college with a proven track record of delivering excellent courses which give you a real choice for gaining employment or progressin­g onto Third Level.

This is a very exciting year for us as we moving into our new campus, which is separate from our second-level school. This new campus will give students the opportunit­y to experience the beginnings of a college experience and enjoy the facilities on offer. New Courses on offer for 2017 are: Engineerin­g Technology Constructi­on Technology Apprentice­ship Preparator­y Programme Health Service Skills

As you can see from the above list, our College is determined to offer applicants an opportunit­y to develop a wide-range of skills that will lead onto employment.

We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of the community in the area of Further Education. Our past pupils have gone onto very lucrative careers and some have reached the highest level of educationa­l achievemen­t. We look carefully at the needs of the community when developing our range of courses. We have developed links with local employers and these employers are aware of the high standards we espouse at BCFE.

If you are completing your Leaving Certificat­e and not sure where your career path is going, take a year out and do a course with us. You will gain invaluable skills in IT, work experience, communicat­ions and self-directed learning which will be essential to you when start third level. It will also minimise the very costly mistake of picking the wrong third-level course. We have a Career Guidance service in the school and a comprehens­ive Work Experience programme as part of the course, giving you all the informatio­n you need in order to make an informed decision about your career path.

We are now going into our third year of establishe­d links with Waterford I.T. and Carlow I.T., having had great success in our first year with the links. There are a specific number of places reserved for the graduates of Bunclody College of Further Education in a wide variety of courses in Waterford I.T. and Carlow I.T.
