GUIDED WALK ARDCAVAN

Take a guided walk on Ardcavan Beach to see coastal animals and plants at low tide with Wexford Wildfowl Reserve. Meet at the entrance of the beach at 2 p.m.

PARISH FETE

Hollyfort Parish Fete and Dog Show in Hollyfort Old School at 6.30 p.m. Entry €4 per class.

ANIMAL SCULPTING

Join Imogen Stafford in the Irish National Heritage Park, Wexford for wire animal sculpting at 10 a.m.

HAND-KNITTING

Mary Redmond will be giving a demonstrat­ion of heritage hand-knitting techniques incorporat­ing themes of nature in the JFK Memorial Park and Arboretum, at 10 a.m.

OUTDOOR BAKING

Bake in an outdoor clay oven and hearth in Sigginstow­n Castle, at 10 a.m., followed by a guided tour of the castle at 11 a.m.

TALE OF THE WHALE

‘A Tale of the Whale’ with Jim Hurley at 7 p.m. in Bunclody Library. A story about a whale stranded in Rosslare in 1891 the skeleton of which will be on display in the British Museum for summer of 2017.
