Curracloe Community Playgroup re-opens on Thursday, August 31, at 9.30 a.m.

BOOK LAUNCH

Local man Eddie Murphy, Ardcavan, launched his book ‘Trails of an Outrider’ in the Porter House, Castlebridge recently. The book is beautifully illustrated by Artist and TV personality, Don Conroy. Irish actor Dermod Lynskey gave a recital on the night. Thanks to local South East radio presenter Alan McGuire, who was MC for the occasion. The launch was a huge success and Eddie would like to thank all who attended on the night and anyone who helped in anyway. Thanks also to Myles and Sharon Doyle for the use of their premises.

APPRECIATION

Castlebridge Show committee which organised the 77th annual Castlebridge horticulture and agriculture show on Sunday, August 13, would like to extend their thanks to the many participants who entered the show and to everyone who supported and attended to help make it a great success.

They would like to take this opportunity to thank the judges, their sponsors and all the dedicated volunteers who helped them on show day.
