Battery power funds charity cash
WEXFORD jeweller Frank Hynes recently presented a cheque for €320 to the Community Minds organisation in the town.
Frank offered to donate €1 for every watch battery he changed in August, and 320 were brought into the North Main Street business. ‘I’m very pleased to support this great local group.. who do fantastic work in the local community,’ said Frank, who handed the cheque to Leonard Kelly, from Community Minds, whose ambition is to have a mental health first aider in every club in the county.
