Fines were recorded against learner per­mit hold­ers who failed to ex­hibit L plates or who were caught on the road un­ac­com­pa­nied by qual­i­fied driv­ers:

Pa­trick Con­nors (19) of Pal­lace East, New Ross, fined a to­tal of €200;

Rachael McMa­hon, 42 Cois Mara, Ross­lare, fined €300 for hav­ing no qual­i­fied driver;

Mary Cash (20), 20 Bar­rett’s Park, New Ross, fined €300 for hav­ing no qual­i­fied driver.
