HOSPICE COFFEE

Mary Martin (087 9926657) will host a coffee morning on Thursday, September 14, in her home at Ballybeg, Glenbrien, from 10 a.m. to midday and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome to call in for a cuppa.

CLOTHING COLLECTION

Having a summer clear out? Oylegate National School are having fundraiser black bag clothing collection on Tuesday, October 10, Leave bags before 9.30 on that day please.

GAA LOTTO

GAA lotto held September 6 numbers were 2, 3, 18 and 30, bonus 23. Lucky-dip winners were Nellie Farrell, Sarah Hayden, Brendan Donoghue, Marie Rowley, Ned/Polly Maher, Jim Mernagh, Catherine Kavanagh, and Katie Heffernan. Next draw September 20 in Slaney Inn. Tickets available locally.

BINGO FUNDRAISER

Bingo will be held in Mernagh’s lounge every Thursday for the next 10 weeks. All proceeds will go to Oylegate church Repairs Fund. Please support.

CAMOGIE NEWS

The club will be selling half zips in the coming weeks. Orders will be taken in the clubhouse on the following days and times only; Friday, September 8, Monday, September 11, from 7.00 to 7.30 p.m. each evening. Deposit of €25 required on the night for each half zip ordered. Samples will be available to try on, in kids and adult sizes.

MASS TIMES

Please note Mass times in Oylegate: Saturday vigil Mass is at 6.30 p.m.; Sunday morning Mass is at 10.30 a.m.

WHIST AT CWCW

There will be a whist drive in St Anthony’s Unit, Bellefield CWCW on September 29 at 8 p.m. The top score is €40 and tea will be served.
