HOSPICE COFFEE THANKS

Grateful appreciati­on to one and all who supported the Hospice coffee morning held recently at Kyle Forge. It was a great success with those in attendance being very generous. Special thanks to fourth class pupil Grace Barry, who made beautiful bracelets which were sold during the event. Congratula­tions to Marie Dillon, who won the Bewleys Hamper.

ROAD RUN

The Over the Water Vintage Club are holding a Road Run on Sunday next, October 8, commencing at 12.30 p.m. in Castlebrid­ge village. All proceeds are in aid of the Irish Children’s Pilgrimage Trust Group 94 and Castlebrid­ge Day Care community centre. Your support will be greatly appreciate­d.

YOUTH CLUB NEWS

There will be no meeting for Crossabeg Youth club members this coming Friday, October 6, as there is a disco in Bree. A Youth Leader training course for parents will be held in the FDYS centre in Enniscorth­y on Tuesday, October 3, from seven – 10 p.m and another one on Monday, October 9, in Crossabeg school from seven – 10 p.m. All parents of Youth club members are encouraged to attend this course.
