Fined for theft of beer kegs
THOMAS O’Donohoe (52) with an address at 11 Skeffington Street, Wexford was convicted in his absence of theft when his case was considered at the District Court.
He was responsible for the taking of two beer kegs from Mooney’s on the quay in Wexford on July 10.
The accused had been given time to pay compensation to the pub but no evidence was to hand that this had happened.
Solicitor Raymond Rowan was present in court but he had received no instructions offer the judge from his absent client.
A fine of €300 was imposed.
