Fined for theft of beer kegs

THOMAS O’Dono­hoe (52) with an ad­dress at 11 Sk­eff­in­g­ton Street, Wex­ford was con­victed in his ab­sence of theft when his case was con­sid­ered at the Dis­trict Court.

He was re­spon­si­ble for the tak­ing of two beer kegs from Mooney’s on the quay in Wex­ford on July 10.

The ac­cused had been given time to pay com­pen­sa­tion to the pub but no ev­i­dence was to hand that this had hap­pened.

So­lic­i­tor Ray­mond Rowan was present in court but he had re­ceived no in­struc­tions of­fer the judge from his ab­sent client.

A fine of €300 was im­posed.
