Top cat­walk line-up for Wex­ford Style

DE­TAILS of this year’s glit­ter­ing Wex­ford Style fashion show have been re­vealed, with the top-drawer char­ity event set to take place at The Street in County Hall at 7 p.m. on Satur­day, Novem­ber 11.

The show, or­gan­ised by Wex­ford Cham­ber in as­so­ci­a­tion with Joyces Expert Wex­ford and Dyson and Dono­hoe Skoda, will be­gin with a cham­pagne re­cep­tion be­fore the models take to the cat­walk.

The stylish TV pre­sen­ter, on­line in­flu­encer and fashion writer Dar­ren Kennedy will be the host for this year’s show.

Most re­cently Dar­ren pre­sented TV’s Dream House, along­side Anna Daly, and Xpose along­side Glenda Gil­son. Prior to this he was res­i­dent style pre­sen­ter on ITV 1’s flag­ship show ‘This Morn­ing’ and pre­sen­ter of celebrity en­ter­tain­ment se­ries #Trend­ing on RTE.

A stel­lar line up is planned for this year’s show, with Ir­ish de­signer Aideen Bod­kin added to the line-up. Aideen’s ladies-wear col­lec­tion is de­signed us­ing ex­quis­ite fab­rics in beau­ti­fully made gar­ments fin­ished to the high­est stan­dards.

The cat­walk show will again be charmed by the magic touch of our Cre­ative Di­rec­tor Keith Jor­dan and it will show­case the very best of the Au­tumn/Win­ter Col­lec­tions by 17 of County Wex­ford’s most ex­cit­ing bou­tiques.

Gorey Bou­tiques fea­tured are Ruby Rouge, Liz Collins Bou­tique and Place. Wex­ford Bou­tiques in­clude Ava Bou­tique, Em­press Bou­tique, Frock, Millinery Mad­ness, Panache, Pamela Scott, Run­away Bride, Se­lected, Si Jolie and The Zip Yard as well as Ot­tiva and Sofia’s Choice from En­nis­cor­thy and Noreen O’Don­nell from New Ross.

Back again this year is Eden Manor Bridal who will show­case their bridal and men’s for­mal wear col­lec­tions.

Top models from As­sets Model Agency will show­case the glam­our, with award-win­ning hair­dresser Alan Keville and his team mak­ing sure there isn’t an un­in­tended hair out of place.

And back again to look af­ter the male models will be the team from The Cut­throat Club while the make-up artists from Gain­fort Academy will show­case looks for the sea­son ahead.

Wex­ford Cham­ber are de­lighted to an­nounce that St Pa­trick’s Spe­cial School has been se­lected as the char­ity part­ner for this year’s show which will help raise valu­able funds for the school.

Tick­ets are €35, which in­cludes a com­pli­men­tary glass of bub­bly on ar­rival. Last year’s event was a com­plete sell-out so early book­ing is ad­vised!
