Travel writers visit Wexford
FIVE top travel writers from France explored Wexford and Ireland’s Ancient East recently as guests of Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and Irish Ferries.
Representing various print and online publications, with a combined readership of more than 2.7 million people – or potential French holidaymakers – the journalists were in the county to find out more about our superb visitor experiences in Wexford and Ireland’s Ancient East.
The group sailed to Rosslare and their itinerary included Tucumshane Windmill and the Irish National Heritage Park.
They also visited Kilmore Quay, where the group explored the village and enjoyed lunch at the Silver Fox Seafood Restaurant.
They stayed at the Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort and dined in Marlfield House, in Gorey.
