Fined €300 and banned for two years

David Zsiga of 26 Good Tide Harbour, Batt Street pleaded guilty to a motor insurance offence when he attended the District Court in Ardcavan.

The 38-year-old, who said he was unemployed but looking for work, was caught by Garda Brendan Leamy without cover in a Ford van on November 27 last year at Rosslare Harbour.

The result was a fine of €300 and a two year disqualification from driving for Zsiga.
