Carried to the patrol car

A woman arrested in a drunken condition near her home was fined €75 when she appeared at Wexford District Court.

Tracey Fleming, 1 Melrose Court, Wexford came to the attention of gardaí on the night of February 7 last.

She fled when they arrived but fell over and was so intoxicated that she had to be carried to the patrol car.

She accepted in court that she was drunk and told Judge Gerard Haughton she had since enrolled in college.
