Speeding driver disqualified

A conviction for speeding came with a 12 month disqualification for Anne Lawlor from Leannes, Kilmore Quay when her case was considered at the District Court sitting in Wexford.

The court was told that Ms Lawlor’s was detected travelling at 90 km/h breaking the 80 km/h in force at Randalstown.

Judge Gerard Haughton imposed a fine of €300 on the absent defendant and added the one year disqualification as no licence details were available to him.
