Credit Union puts lucky members in driving seat

TWO lucky Wexford Credit Union members are behind the wheels of new Toyota cars.

Martin Donovan and Brendan McAleer were presented with their 172-reg Toyota Yaris models at Boggans as winners of the most recent Wexford Credit Union car draw.

Michael, from Castlebridge, could not believe his luck at first as he thought it was just a wind up from someone.

‘I have never won anything on the scale of this before. I am absolutely delighted,’ said Michael.

Meanwhile, Brendan, from Foulksmills, was actually car shopping when he received his phone call to say he won the very car he had considered buying.

‘I wanted a Toyota Yaris and I had completely forgot that I had entered the competition. It’s terrific,’ said Brendan.

The Credit Union car draw for members takes place four times a year and is just €5 to enter.
