FUNDRAISER THANKS

Thanks to those who supported the fundraiser in Mernagh’s lounge, which raised €624 in aid of Wexford Hospice Homecare. Thanks also to Eamonn and Sue for hosting the event and to Derek,/Paddy/Jonathan for providing the entertainment.

CLOTHING COLLECTION

Oylegate National School’s black bag clothing collection takes place on Tuesday, October 10. Leave bags before 9.30 on that day please.

SCHOOL MASS

The Oylegate School Mass to mark the beginning of the school year will take place on Thursday, October 12, at 10.15 a.m. in the school hall – all are welcome.

PARISH DRAW WINNERS

First prize €200 Tony and Betty Moulton, €50 each to Peter Daly, PJ Farrell, Ann Doran, Alan and Marie Maher.

GAA LOTTO

In the draw held on October 4, numbers were 2, 12, 16 and 27 bonus 11. Lucky-dip winners were Séamus Allen, Ryan O’Connor, Ken Bolger, Tom Murphy, Patricia Doran, Sonny Browne, Molly Quigley, and J Reck. Next draw will be held on October 18. Tickets available locally.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

The Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorthy will hold their annual church gate collection on Saturday the 14th/Sunday, October 15. Your support would be very much appreciated.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING

The annual Harvest Thanksgiving takes place at the Saturday and Sunday Masses next weekend, October 14/15.

BINGO FUNDRAISER

Bingo will be held in Mernagh’s lounge every Thursday for the next few weeks. All proceeds will go to Oylegate church Repairs Fund. Please support.

LOCAL LINK WEXFORD

Local Link Wexford provides secure, reliable and affordable transport for the rural communities of County Wexford. Services are open to everyone and all ages. The services will accommodate those attending appointments, shopping etc. Where possible they will collect passengers from their homes. An information booklet together with timetable is available at the back of the church.
