Our under-eight boys played their final football blitz of the year in St Martin’ s. We had 20 players there and every boy played at least two full matches. Of the five matches we played we won three. On a drizzly wet day the boys played really well. Well done to all of the boys who played and indeed who trained during the year.

Jack, Tyler, Bobby, Joe, Daniel, Joe, Joe, Éamon, Lucas, Nathan, Nathan, Jesse, Chris, Daniel, Darragh, Stephen, Leo, Ryan, Ahmed and Alfie. All were invited back to the club house for a bowl of soup, sandwiches, buns, cakes, etc. Thanks to all who prepared it. SuperValu then presented the club with 60 new footballs which will get great use in the coming years.

We would like to thank all SuperValu customers who supported us with their token to help us achieve the target. And last but not least a huge thanks to Pettitt’s SuperValu and to Nicky Byrne of Pettitt’s SuperValu for their generous promotion.
