CAMROSS ICA

Our last meeting was held on Monday, October 2, in Camross hall.

Sympathy was extended to Joan Whitty for the recent passing of her husband Jim.

Dympna congratulated Mary Kelly for holding a very successful coffee day which, to date, has raised over €2,000 (still counting) for the Wexford Hospice Homecare. Well done Mary and Gerald.

Dympna also complimented the ladies who recently took part in the fun walk held in JFK Park in aid of Cottage Autism and SVP

Calodagh McCumiskey from Spiritual Earth (spiritualearth.ie) gave us an inspiring talk on the numerous benefits of meditation. Her talk initiated a great conversation between the ladies who enjoyed exchanging numerous tips on how to beat stress.

Delicious tea and scones were then served by Peggy Doyle and Marie Margaret Roche. The winner of our monthly competition of the ‘biggest cooking apple’ was Dympna Kelly.

A few dates for your diary: October 16 – The monthly Craft class in An Grianán. October 25 – Convenience Night in Bridgetown College at 7 p.m. November 4 – winter Conference.
