Garda honours for our youth
FOLLOWING on from the highly-successful inaugural County Wexford Garda Youth Awards in 2017, Wexford Gardai and Wexford County Council have launched the second County Wexford Garda Youth Awards aimed at honouring young people who are a credit to their communities.
The awards are aimed at young people between the ages of 11 and 21, from throughout the county, who will be recognised for their positive work and contributions.
Do you know a young person that has contributed to their community, or excelled in sports, or overcome a serious illness or personal difficulty or do you know a young person that gives their own time to help others or makes their community or school a better place?
if so, lets give these young people the recognition they deserve.
Group entries of two or more young person’s will also be considered.
Application forms for nominations are available for downloading on the Garda Website www.garda.ie or www.wexfordcoco.ie and from any Garda Station in County Wexford.
Also by sending an e-mail to john.j.cleary@garda.ie or neil.b.murphy@garda.ie or kevin.t.burke@garda.ie or contact Garda Paul Buckley, Gorey Garda Station at 053-9430690 who will send a copy to you by post. Details of the scheme and rules are outlined on the application form.
