Six of the best for St. Cormac’s

Division 2 leaders St. Cormac’s have been in irresistib­le form of late and on Sunday they dismantled Killenagh 6-0 with goals from James Sweeney (two), Seán Roche, Mark Brady, Brendan Burke and Jamie Dempsey Doyle.

Adamstown edged out Stoney Rovers 3-2, scoring through and own goal, Barry Power and Liam Moore, with Jamie O’Grady and Rob Farrell hitting the back of the net for the hosts.

Ciarán Marlow and Theo Doyle got the goals for Crossabeg as they ran out 2-0 winners over St. Joseph’s, while Anthony Breen (two) and Seamie McLoughlin scored for Taghmon United as they drew 3-3 with Wexford Celtic, with Stuart Hayden (two) and Philip Cullen replying.

Gorey Rangers and Enniscorth­y United came away with a point apiece after a hard-fought Division 3 top of the table clash on Sunday, with the game finishing 0-0.

Rosslare Port closed in on the leaders with a 3-1 win over Bunclody, with Jamie McMahon, Tadhg Fogarty and Shane Lawless getting the goals for the winners and Dion Dunne replying.

Gordon Simpson, Danny O’Brien (two) and David Corcoran hit the back of the net for Forth Celtic as they saw off Enniscorth­y Town 4-0, while Duncannon and Bree United played out a scoreless stalemate.

Leaders Oylegate United picked up another three points on Sunday, thanks to a 4-2 win away to Rosslare Strand.

Ryan Hill netted a double for the winners, with Barry Dunne adding a penalty and Lee Kehoe also getting in on the act. Kenny O’Reilly and Conor Clancy hit the back of the net for Strand.

Raheen are hot on their heels after a 4-1 win over Shelburne, with Dylan Whitty bagging a brace and Franks Staples and Peter Finn adding a goal apiece.

Ballymurn Celtic overcame Rosbercon 5-3 in a real thriller, with Josh Whitehead (two), Paul Dempsey, John Breen and Paul Walsh scoring for Ballymurn and Brian Lawlor, Ger Mannion and Jamie St. Ledger replying.

Ben Butler, Sam O’Neill and Kyle Mann got the goals for Wexford Albion as they won 3-1 away to Rosslare Rangers, with Fintan Wickham hitting the net for Rangers.

An A.J. Redmond goal was enough for Rathnure to edge out Bridge Rovers.

Wexford Bohs made it a magnificen­t seven wins out seven in Division 4 when easily accounting for The Ballagh on Sunday. The Wexford town outfit ran out 5-0 winners with goals from Aaron Walsh (two), Aaron McMahon, Philly Berry and Alan Flood.

Corach Ramblers were much too good for Curracloe, registerin­g a 6-1 victory with goals from John Staples (two), Alan Diskin, Conor Neville, Tadhg Cahill and Mark Hayes.

All Blacks also had their shooting boots on as they overcame Camolin 7-1. Mark Doyle helped himself to five goals, with John Codd and Jason Pettit adding one apiece.

Alex Wilson and Craig Coughlan got the goals for Crossabeg as they edged out Caim United 2-1, while Carne beat Ferns United by the same scoreline, with the winners getting on the scoresheet through Ger Burke and an own goal and Stephen Davitt scoring for Ferns.

Jack O’Brien was the hattrick hero for Courtown Hibs as they saw off Castledock­rell 4-1, with James Fleming getting their other goal.

Leaders Glynn Barntown notched up another three points on Sunday, thanks to a 4-1 triumph away to St. Joseph’s. Robert Dempsey netted a double for the pacesetter­s, with Rioghan Crosbie scoring from a free-kick and Jack Brazzill also on the scoresheet.

Seán Lambert and Stephen Kennedy both scored hat-tricks for second-placed Cloughbawn as they hit Wexford Celtic for six without reply.

A Mick Rigley goal early in the second-half was enough for Enniscorth­y United to see off Gorey Celtic 1-0, while Campile United beat Boolavogue by the same scoreline, with an Eoin Mythen strike the difference between the sides.

Cian Rossiter (two), Mark Browne, Paul Dempsey and Ciarán Byrne got the goals for Wexford Albion as they won 5-1 in Ballymurn, while Tombrack and Taghmon United came away with a point apiece after a 1-1 draw, with Stephen Ryan scoring for the former and William Codd replying.

St. Leonards fought back from a two-goal deficit to earn a share of the spoils against Enniscorth­y Town on Sunday.

The saints looked to be in difficulty when trailing 2-0, but Seamie Kehoe and Matty Flynn hit the back of the net to rescue a priceless point.

Darragh Kavanagh got on the scoresheet for Camolin, but high-flying Kiltealy Celtic proved too strong and ran out 5-1 winners.

Pádraig Moran and Niall Finn got the goals for St. Cormac’s as they drew 2-2 with New Ross Town, while Cushinstow­n beat Bree United 3-0 and Killenagh overcame Adamstown 6-0.
