SYMPATHY

We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Pauline (Poll) Roche, St Anne’s, Cleariestown, who died during the week. Also to the family of Maura O’Neill (Rochestown) who died last week. May they both rest in peace.

ST ANNE’S NS

We all know how climate change affects our lives. The recent Hurricane Ophelia is a good example. In Rathangan School we are doing our bit to raise awareness of and reduce climate change. We are recycling, using less water and turning the lights off when we are not using them. Also this year we are going for our fourth Green School Flag which is ‘TRAVEL’.

This ties in well with climate change as it requires us to try walk, cycle or carpool where possible instead of using the cars. We ask that all the families in our community do their bit for climate change. Thank you from all at St Anne’s NS Clothing Collection.

Cleariestown Community Playgroup will be having a Fundraising used clothing collection on Monday, November 27. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes also bed linen, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, belts and soft toys. You can drop off any items at the playschool any weekday morning between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
