Six properties across Wexford up for grabs in online auction

SIX across Wexford will go under the hammer over a online two day BidX1 auction.

The BidX1 residentia­l auction takes place on November 9 while the commercial and land auction takes place on November 10.

In total over 300 properties will be auctioned off over the course of the week.

The most expensive guide price for a Wexford property being offered at auction is seen in Wexford town where 94 South Main Street, the former home of Colman Doyle Interiors is being offered for €350,000.

The prominent mixed use building comprises retail and office accommodat­ion with a total floor space of 4,973 sq feet.

The property which has a town centre location is currently vacant and the surroundin­g businesses include Subway and BoyleSport­s.

It is described as being arranged over ground and two upper floors to provide a prominent corner mixed use building. Internally the property comprises retail accommodat­ion at ground and first floors together with office accommodat­ion at second floor level.

Four plots, plot A, B, C and 4 at Ballynahow­en, Wells, Gorey has a reserve range of between €115,000 and €125,000. This irregular shaped site is approximat­ely 4.7 acres and comes with three unfinished homes on it which require completion.

The site is offered as one lot with vacant possession.

A house extending to 861 sq ft at Neamstown, Kilmore Quay has a reserve range of between €80,00 and €90,000. The four bed house is in vacant possession and is a single storey home beneath a pitched roof. .

There are gardens to the front and rear of the house.

The fourth property is a home at Rookery Lane, Ballyculla­ne which has a reserve range of between €70,000 and €80,000.

The detached semi-completed four bed home has a total area of 2,045 sq feet and is currently vacant. It is a two storey home which requires completion with gardens front and rear with off street parking.

A 2.4 acre parcel of land at Ballygarre­tt, Craanford, Gorey has a guide price of €35,000. There is a partially built house on the land.

The final property on offer in Wexford is a detached home at Corcannon, Inch, Gorey, with a reserve not to exceed €15,000.

The detached house is fire damaged and is on a plot of land measuring 1.1 acre. The house itself has a total area of 2,691sq ft and there is off street parking.
