Motorist is fined €500

A car on which the motor tax expired in January of 2015 was stopped in Killinick in November of 2016.

The prosecution of Kornel Ptak of 6 The Courtyard, John’s Street, Wexford came to the District Court in Wexford almost a year after the offence was noted by Garda Robert Fogarty.

A fine of €500 was recorded by Judge Gerard Haughton in absence from court of the defendant.
