Ladies’ teams mark a fantastic first year
MORE THAN 250 players, family members, friends and supporters gathered at the Talbot Hotel to celebrate the first ‘fantastic’ year of the combined Clonard Volunteers Ladies’ Gaelic Football Club, Clonard Ladies and St John’s Volunteers.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the medals to all of the 10 teams who participated throughout the year from under-six to senior adult.
Paul Murphy, from Wexford Glass, sponsor of the under-18 and under-12 girls, presented the younger girls with their well- deserved medals, certificates & team photos,
The pride of place in the presentation was for the victorious under-12 county champions along with the junior and senior ladies’ double League cup winners.
Runners-up medals were presented by our new under-14 and under-16 sponsor Gemma Hayes Recruitment to the under-14 and under-16 teams, who narrowly missed out in their respective finals.
