Addams Family in Bridgetown
SPOOKY favourites the Addams family will make their Wexford debut at Bridgetown College on December 6 and 7, bringing with them some bizarre and ghastly behaviour.
This promises to be a spooktacular show with a devilish amount of ghostly humour thrown in and some wonderfully ghoulish tunes performed by the Addams Family Clan.
Casting for the show took place in September and, according to director, Eileen Creevey, students were chosen who could represent the eccentric aristocracy of this 20th century American family.
Cast members include: Evan Clarke (Gomez), Leah Busher (Morticia), Mathu Pierce (Pugsley), Caoimhe Troy (Wednesday), Jack O’Brien (Uncle Fester), Emma Daly (Grandmama), Sammy Delaney (Lurch), Jack Donovan (Lucas), Emma Murphy (Alice) and Josh Power (Mal). The chorus is made up of the ‘Ancestors’ who have arisen from the dead to take part in this musical extravaganza.
Over the past number of years Bridgetown College has put on a number of variety shows but this is the first musical in many years and, in the opinion of Fionnuala Greene, Principal, this show is gearing up to be a fantastic showcase of the talent that Bridgetown College has to offer and it will be enjoyed by all ages.
Tickets for the show are available from this week and can be purchased at the college’s General Office during morning break, from 11 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Tickets cost €8 for adults and €5 for children.
