Badminton charity event

THE RATTLES of shuttles were heard across the county recently as the annual charity badminton tournament arrived again.

This year all proceeds of the tournament went to Windmill Therapeutic Unit in Wexford. We would like to give a huge thanks to Deirdre and Eimear Dunne for their exceptional organisation and running of the tournament.

We would also like to thank Gorey B.C. for the use of their hall and all of those who took part.

It was three heavy days of playing.
