Kehoe’s late strike wins it for Camolin
Camolin Celtic 1, Kilmore United 0: These two sides have improved dramatically since the season kicked off and produced one of the best matches thus far as they produced a highly entertaining, competitive encounter.
With both sides effectively cancelling each other out, the game seemed to be heading for a scoreless draw until Katie Kehoe fired home a shot from the edge of the area in the 89th minute.
This win moves Camolin well clear at the top of Division 1 but they still have some tough games to come in the new year.
Corach Ramblers 3, Fastnet Rovers 1: Corach picked up their third win of the season when they overcame Fastnet 3-1 in a close, competitive battle, with both sides currently leading the way in their respective divisions.
Joanne Jordan scored for Rovers while Sal Eustace, Amy Eustace and Niamh Miller were all on target for Ramblers. Cushinstown AFC 0, Stoney LFC 2: Two first-half goals saw Stoney record their fourth win of the season to move clear at the top of the table.
Chloe Foxe and Lisa Marie Doyle scored for the impressive visitors who could have increased their advantage but found Anna Power difficult to beat in the Cushinstown goal.
Ajax Athletic 0, Wexford Bohs 3: Bohs moved up the table when they travelled to Enniscorthy and ran out 3-0 winners against a hard-working Ajax side.
Denise Leniston was in fine scoring form as she scored a hat-trick to give her side their second win of the season.
