IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Friday, December 8, is the feast of the Immaculate Conception and is a holy day of obligation. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. and again in the evening at 7 p.m.

YOUTH CLUB

There will be no Youth Club meeting on Friday night as the members will be attending a disco in Bree hall. The club will break up for the Christmas holidays on Friday, December 15, and will round off proceeding­s with a trip to LeisureMax.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

A reminder that the annual general meeting of St Killian’s athletic club will take place at 8.30 p.m. in Crossabeg school this evening, Tuesday, December 5, senior members and parents are encouraged to attend. The club extends their sincere sympathy to the Kinsella family, Killeen, on their recent sad loss.

COFFEE MORNING

A great day is guaranteed at the coffee morning which will be held in Kyle Forge this coming Saturday morning, December 9, Doors open at 10 a.m. and all visitors will be greeted with a cup of tea or coffee and lovely refreshmen­ts. A raffle will also take place and on sake will be lots of Christmas goodies, tarts, puddings, bracks, jams, chutney, etc.

CHRISTMAS PARTY

The annual Christmas party for the senior members of the parish will be held in the Ferrycarri­g hotel this coming Sunday, December 10, We hope all will enjoy the occasion and enjoy catching up with friends.

CONDOLENCE­S

We extend our sincere condolence­s to Elaine (née Kinsella, Killowen) and Mark Mullen, and their extended families, on the sad loss of baby Daniel, whose funeral took place to Crossabeg cemetery after Mass of the Angels on Tuesday of last week. ‘Sleeping with the Angels.
