CHURCH SERVICES

The Vigil Mass on Christmas Eve will be celebrated in the Ballagh at 7.30 p.m. and the Christmas vf Day Mass will be at 11 a.m. The Penance Service will be at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday the 17th at 6.30 p.m.

SCHOOL CALENDAR

The school calendar was launched recently and has been highly praised. It will be a fantastic keepsake for the years ahead as well as being an excellent Christmas gift for family and friends. Prices are €8 for one, €15 for two and €20 for three calendars.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Oulart-The Ballagh GAA will hold its AGM on Friday, January 12The Coiste na nÓg endof-year meeting will be held in Oulart Community Centre on Sunday, December 17, starting at 8 p.m. All club members, adult and underage mentors, coaches, parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.

CRAFT TOGETHER

Every Tuesday at 8 p.m., a group of people interested in practising and learning crafts such as knitting, crochet, embroidery etc, meet in Marty’s Bar, Oulart. All crafts and craft practition­ers are welcome to drop in and join the group.

CAMOGIE 45 CARD DRIVE

A great night of card playing was had in the Oulart Hill Bar on Sunday, December 10. Geraldine Doyle and Paidh Doyle were the lucky winners of the turkeys. Will Fortune and Phil Redmond were second with Joe Sinnott and Thomas Buttle third. A big thank you to everyone who came along on the night, who bought tickets and donated prizes. Due to popular demand the 45 Card Drive will return in the New Year. Get plenty of practice in over the Christmas.

LIFESTYLE TRANSFORMA­TION

For those who may be planning to get fitter and healthier in 2018, let’s do it together. Oulart-The Ballagh GAA Club and camogie club will be running a Community Lifestyle Transforma­tion programme in the New Year. It will be open to the whole community and everyone is encouraged to join in. Further details on the programme and how to get involved will follow in the New Year.

CHRISTMAS WISHES

The camogie club wish everyone a very happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas. We would like to thank those who supported the club in anyway during 2017 especially the people who supported our fundraisin­g events, those who supported our teams and our club sponsor Corrigan’s Spar and Family Butchers and Superchips. We look forward to 2018 and we hope that it is an enjoyable and successful year for our club.
