Upcoming Events in Grantstown Community Village. Tuesday the 23rd: Shuttles Board/ Cards/Exercises in the morning and Pongo in the afternoon. Wednesday the 24th: Pongo and Reiki in the morning and a special big screen showing of the film ‘Titanic’ in the centre in the afternoon. Thursday the 25th: Pongo/Chair Exercises/Imagination Gym in the morning and table quiz in the afternoon.
As well as the daily scheduled activities, we now have staff who are qualified in Sonas, Imagination Gym and Reiki. Please note these sessions are free for clients of Granstown Day Care Centre. If you are interested in any of these Relaxation Therapies for yourself or a family member please phone 051 561016.
Tesco Community Fund – We are delighted to announce that Grantstown Daycare Centre has been nominated as one of Tesco’s Community Fund charities for the next few weeks. If you are shopping in Tesco in Wexford Town we would really appreciate if you could put your blue tokens into the box for Grantstown Daycare Centre. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
CE Vacancies – Grantstown Daycare has vacancies in the following areas: Bus Drivers, office staff, carers, Kitchen staff and Maintenance Persons. If you are interested in working here and want to see if you fulfil the criteria please contact Grantstown Daycare Centre at 051 561016.
Volunteers Needed – If you can give even one hour of your time per week, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for Minibus Drivers, Meals on Wheels drivers and Drivers to transport Residents to doctors or hospital appointments.
