Eugene and Mary mark five decades
50 HAPPY years of marriage were celebrated recently as Eugene Conway and his wife Mary (née Doyle) gathered with family and friends.
Eugene and Mary were married on February 21, 1968, having initially met through a mutual friend. Eugene worked as a train driver for many year as while Mary, who is originally from Courtnacuddy, worked at Wexford General Hospital.
The couple have lived in Pinewood for the past 50 years.
The couple married in Bride Street Church and went to England on their honeymoon as Eugene had family living there that they visited.
Since then, the couple has remained busy and stayed active together.
The couple was delighted to welcome Fr Barry Larkin who performed a blessing for them on the occasion of their 50th anniversary.
