Whitford’s 27th draw gives Homecare a €1,120 boost

-

THE ANNUAL Christmas Draw in Whitford House Hotel raised funds of €1,120 for Wexford Hospice Homecare.

John Redmond and Ger Whitty from Whitford recently presented a cheque to Maura Cowman of Hospice at the hotel.

Mr Whitty said they had been running the draw for 27 years and it was always generously supported by the hotel’s customers and regulars.

Prizes in the draw included: a midweek break for two; a 200 hamper; and evening meal for two; and others.

Mr Whitty added that they, like many others, had a personal connection to Hospice Homecare, pointing out that it was a great charity and, unfortunately, one that many people found themselves calling on for support.
