Choral works

-

Wexford Festival Singers and Notable Works from Waterford will present a concert of choral works in Rowe Street Street Church on Palm Sunday, March 25 at 3.30 p.m.

Under the baton of Kevin O’Carroll, the choirs will perform Fauré’s Requiem and short works by the Irish composer Standford and Mendelssohn. The soloists will be Roisín O’Grady and Eoin Power, baritone while the organist will be Colin Nicholls.

Since being founded in 1975, Wexford Festival Singers have performed most of the major choral works. For this performance, they will be joined by Notable Works, who staged Handel’s Messiah to more than 1,200 people in Waterford and Kilkenny in December 2017.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased at wexfordartscentre.ie or in person at the arts centre box office.
