ALL BLACKS AFC

The under-11 girls left a wet and miserable Ferrycarrig Park during the recent past with three points in the bag after beating the home side in a very closely fought game 1-2. The first half ended 0-0 and the girls were unlucky not to get on the score sheet first as Sinéad’s shot came back of the keeper and Jolie on the rebound also hit of keeper and then cleared by youths defence.

A few minutes later Youths went 1-0 up, but the girls kep their heads up and went looking for the equaliser and shortly after it was 1-1, after Ciara scored, and few minutes later Jolie gave them the lead 2-1. The girls battled to the end and defended really well to earn all three points. Superb football by both teams and entertaining for all those watching. Well done to all 14 involved.
