SYMPATHY
Deepest sympathy to the family of Margaret Marshall, Ballyfrory, who passed away last Sunday week. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late John and mother of Kevin and Seán. Sadly missed by her loving family grandson John, relatives and friends. She reposed in Ryan’s Funeral Home, Wellingtonbridge on Monday, March 12, from 3 p.m. with removal on Tuesday to the Church of Mary Immaculate and St Joseph, Carrig-on-Bannow for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. May she Rest In Peace.

Big Breakfast Morning – The next Sunday Cafe will take place on Sunday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Ballymitty Hall.
Monster Bingo – Monster Bingo is on Easter Sunday, April 1, at 3 p.m. in Ballymitty Hall. €1,500 in prizes including Special page; €50 one line, €100 for two lines and €150 full house. Raffle and lots of prizes. Tea and sandwiches served.
Easter Arts and Crafts Class – Easter Arts and Crafts Class in Ballymitty Hall, taking place over two days, Sunday, March 18, and Saturday, March 24, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Decorate a Vintage Birdcage and learn how to decoupage eggs and candles for Easter and upcycle jars. €20 to cover cost of materials (incl. Birdcage). Take home your crafts for Easter. Easter Market – We will be holding an Easter Market in the centre on March 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Ladies if you have any Clothes in Good condition that shrunk in the wash or you just don’t wear anymore we would love to take them off your hands for our clothes stall.
Or if you want to donate some of your husband’s clothes to make more room in the wardrobe for yours we can help you with that.
We also need Books, bric-àbrac, Tools, Furniture, anything really from a needle to an anchor that is sellable.
Anyone, who has anything that they want to sell can put in their own stall for a small fee.
We would really appreciate your support as any money raised will go towards the purchase of a new Drier for our Laundry.

World Parkinsons Day April 11 – There will be a coffee morning in Grantstown Daycare Centre from 10 a.m. to midday on Wednesday, April 11, in aid of the Wexford branch of the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland. First class Hero: As you are aware one of our pupils in 1stclass has been seriously ill and has been in and out to Crumlin Hospital. During the snow he had to be assisted by the Army to get to hospital after his family had carried him in the snow. Some of our local and national newspapers featured this article and we want to say how proud we are of Logan. His family have shown such strength and courage and we say well done to them all.
Internet and Cyber Safety Talk: This will be held in the school on Wednesday, March 21, at 7.30 p.m. and all parents are welcome. There are many ways in which the internet can benefit society but there are dangers too and sometimes issues can spill into school life. Come along on the night and learn more.
eTwinning Project: Our school has recently twinned with three UK primary schools – in Co. Tyrone, Hexham and Sunderland. Together we are embarking on an exciting online Music Project based around the song ‘A Million Dreams’ from the movie the Greatest Showman. Stay tuned for further updates over the coming months.
Sacrament of Reconciliation: Our second class pupils are busy preparing for their First Confessions, which will take place on Wednesday, April 18, at 7.30 p.m. in St Peter’s Church, Ballymitty. We wish them all well.
GAA CLUB NOTES
Lotto numbers were 12, 13, 30 and 31. This Tuesdays lotto will be €3,800 and can be purchased from Wallace’s Drapery, SuperValu and Costcutters, Tom Moran Car Sales, Staffords Tullycanna, Tír na nÓg, post office Carrig, Murphy’s Pub, Seabreeze Dry cleaners, Doyles Pub and from any Club Officer in the complex.
Adi Roche O’Leary will represent the Ladies’ Football club in the Talent show which takes place in the Horse and Hound on Friday, March 23. Anyone looking for tickets only €10 please contact 086 6801888. This is a great fundraiser for the Ladies’ Club as they will take half the ticket sales.

As of yet no games have been played in the intermediate football, Junior Hurling Ladies’ football or camogie groups. This will make for an interesting year as Club Championship will start on March 31.
