Earlier in the year, the Scór na nÓg team of Manus Harte, David McDonald, Andy Liu and Danny Holden from St. Mary’s (Rosslare) experienced great success, finishing in second place at the All-Ireland.
The Senior Scór quiz was held in St. Martin’s G.A.A. complex.
Following ten rounds of questions on topics ranging from G.A.A. to world history and geography, the team from St. Mary’s (Rosslare) emerged victorious.
Volunteers finished in second place and their team members were Jim McCarthy, Louis Rafter, Joe Cummins and Aidan Roche. They were followed closely by St. Martin’s, represented by Mick Morrissey, Kevin Waters and Paddy Murphy.
Following the quiz, Scór Secretary, Karen Mernagh, thanked quizmaster Phil Kennedy, St. Martin’s G.A.A. club, and all clubs who took part.
