The Shelmalier GAA Club are busy calling to parishioners to give them a chance to buy a ticket in the 2018 Club and county draw. First prize each month for three months is a car, and as well as that there are dozens of other great prizes. Most of the money stays in the Shelmalier club so they would appreciate your support.

Bridge Drama are delighted to have qualified for the RTÉ all-Ireland Drama finals 2018 with their production ‘Cash on Delivery’ by Michael Cooney. A reminder to all schools that the annual table quiz takes place at Ferrycarrig hotel this evening, Tuesday, April 10, registration is at 6.30 p.m. Team of six children with four to compete.
Winners in the local art and Handwriting competitions have all been notified and this is a reminder that the county finals take place on Saturday next, April 14, at Castlebridge national school. Registration for the Handwriting (under-10 and under-12 boys and girls) is at 9.40 a.m. and also for the boys and girls’ under-eight art events, with both commencing at 10 a.m. Registration for all other art competitors commences at 11 a.m.
