CLOTHING COLLECTION
Bri Beag will hold a Clothing, Household textiles and Mobile Phone Collection at Bree Community Centre on this Thursday, April 12, from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. and on Friday morning April, 13th from 8.15 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. or you can drop your bag (s) into Bri Beag. Items such as clothing, soft toys, shoes, handbags, belts, laptops, mobile phones, curtains, towels etc. will be accepted. Strictly no dirty or wet clothing, no duvets or pillows, carpets or mats and no books will be accepted. Thank you for your continued support.
ACTIVE RETIREMENT
April will be a busy time for members of Bree ARI the final of the Co Bowls League bowls are being held in the Clayton Whites Hotel on Monday/Tuesday April 9/10, starting at 10 a.m. The monthly social will be held on Wednesday, April 18.
The group have an outing to the Arboretum in Carlow on April 25 A deposit of €10 will be taken up at the social. The bus will leave Bree Community Centre at 11 a.m. Please note change of date and time. Enquiries to 086 0747823.
SMART FITNESS
There is a change to the timetable for Smart Fitness in Galbally Hall. Wednesday evening earlier time at 6.30 p.m. Total Beginner’s welcome €7.50 adults and €5 under-18. Tuesday and Thursday as normal at 7 p.m., Friday morning 9.45 a.m. Kids Kettlebell and Circuit Training Classes Monday at 5.30 p.m. in St Joseph’s and 6 p.m. upstairs in North End Wexford. Only €5 per child pay-asyou-go and ages 6/7 upwards. New Smart Fitness Timetable coming up for summer months. All queries contact Collette at 086 3927655.
COMMUNITY GAMES
Anyone interested in the Community Games Talent Competition should contact Clare at 087 4151350 before April 16. County final is in Bree on Saturday, April 29, and national finals are in May 26 to May 27. Details are available on Aldi Community Games Website under May 2018.
Best of luck to the two local teams competing in the Quiz County Finals on Tuesday, April 10, in the Ferrycarrig Hotel at 6.30 p.m.
Best of luck also to those taking part in the art and Handwriting on Saturday, April 14, in Castlebridge NS Registration for the under-10 and under-12 Handwriting and under-8 art is at 9.40 a.m. to start at 10 a.m. Registration for all other Art Age groups is at 11 a.m. to start at 11.15 a.m.
Best of luck to the under-10 Draughts, under-16 Chess and under-11 Mini Rugby teams representing Co Wexford and competing in the South Leinster Championships on Sunday next, April 15, in Carlow.
ATHLETIC CLUB NEWS
Training continues each Monday and Wednesday for registered Bree AC members. The outdoor season for Little Athletics will begin on this Wednesday, April 11, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the top field and continue each Monday and Wednesday evening with the exception of Bank Holidays. Galbally Tractor Run
The annual Galbally Tractor Run in aid of Galbally parish funds will take place on Sunday, May 27.
